The Autosave
plugin allows you to automatically save the data (e.g. send it to the server)
when needed (when the user changed the content).
It listens to the editor.model.document#change:data
and window#beforeunload
events and calls the
config.autosave.save()
function.

The adapter is an object with a

method. That method will be called whenever the data changes. It might be called some time after the change, since the event is throttled for performance reasons. -
The editor instance.
Note that most editors implement the
EditorWithUI
interface in addition to the baseEditor
interface. However, editors with an external UI (i.e. Bootstrap-based) or a headless editor may not implement theEditorWithUI

Plugin may be disabled by multiple features or algorithms (at once). When disabling a plugin, unique id should be passed (e.g. feature name). The same identifier should be used when enabling back the plugin. The plugin becomes enabled only after all features enabled it back.
